Workers’ Day: DG Research and Documentation Directorate Celebrates With Kano Workers

To commemorate Workers’ Day 2025, Nana Asma’u Jibrin, Director General of the Research and Documentation Directorate, praised Kano State workers for their dedication and resilience, hailing them as drivers of progress.

While recognizing the invaluable contributions of the workforce to the development of the state, Nana Asma’u extolled Governor Abba Kabir’s commitment to prompt payment of salaries since his assumption as governor, a move that is widely applauded across the civil service community.

“As we mark this year’s Workers’ Day, we acknowledge the hard work and sacrifices of our public servants who remain committed to excellence, even in challenging times.” said Nana Asma’u.

“The timely payment of salaries stands as a reflection of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s broader commitment to workers’ rights and welfare across Kano State.” She added

Under Nana Asma’u Jibrin’s leadership, the Directorate maintains high standards of transparency, service delivery, and accountability, fostering trust and confidence among its staff.

Workers thanked the Director General for her continued gesture, calling it “motivating” and a “welcome acknowledgment” of their hard work.”

As the nation observes Workers’ Day, the DG encourages all civil servants to remain committed, innovative, and service oriented in the continued transformation of Kano State.
